Job summary

Monarch Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise paraprofessionals and deliver direct nursing care within our Behavioral Health Division. The role includes assessing health status, medications, and safety, while following physician orders and service guidelines.

You will educate individuals about mental illness and substance use, participate in discharge planning, and monitor responses to treatment. Travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in crisis management settings with mental health focus.
• Experience with children or adults in behavioral health.
• Associates degree in Nursing or higher; RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee paraprofessionals and provide direct nursing care per plan.
• Assess health status, medications, functioning, and safety.
• Educate on mental illness and substance use; assist discharge planning.
