Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a patient care assistant in a mental health hospital setting.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• De-escalation Training Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and non-medication pain management.
• Monitors and records patient information and test results.
• Responds promptly to patient and family requests.
• Provides care under supervision of licensed staff and leaders.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Follow de-escalation procedures and crisis intervention as needed.
