Job summary

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist for PRN coverage in Missouri. This role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to assess patients, plan treatment, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy as required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field required.
• 1–3 years of behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs functional assessments and develops treatment plans with the care team.
• Leads individual, group, and/or family therapy based on patient needs.
• Supports discharge planning and coordination of post-hospital care.
• Documents clinical interventions per regulations and policies.
• Engages patients and families and responds to crisis situations as needed.
