Bakersfield Post Acute in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN per diem work in a skilled nursing and short-term rehab setting. The COTA provides direct patient care under an OT's supervision and documents progress.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting notes, communicating with the rehab team, contributing to discharge planning, and educating residents and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program required.
• Current California COTA license in good standing preferred.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric care is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide treatment to residents under the supervision of the OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans per physician orders.
• Document daily treatment notes and progress per facility standards.
• Communicate resident progress and plans with the rehab team.
• Assist with discharge planning and transition of care.
