Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Belmont, WV is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN position at Belmont Healthcare Center. You will work as an in-house team member to support residents through therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation plans.

You will collaborate with the Occupational Therapist and care team, document care per facility guidelines, and have the opportunity to serve residents across multiple locations, promoting continuity of care and resident independence.

Qualifications

• COTA education from an accredited two-year associate degree program.
• Hold a valid or pending State OTA license.

Responsibilities

• Helps clients improve quality of life by improving motor skills and independence.
• Implements treatment plans with OT, educates staff and family as needed.
• Documents rehab activities per department and facility requirements.
