Gateway Post Acute is seeking a compassionate PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of an OT, you will provide individualized treatment to help residents improve daily activities safely and independently.

The role emphasizes flexible PRN scheduling, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and opportunities to contribute to care planning and equipment recommendations.

Formación

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• CA OTA license in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide OT treatments under the supervising OT's plan of care.
• Help residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Monitor residents' responses and report progress to supervising OT.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab staff, residents, and families.
• Participate in care conferences and discharge planning.
• Educate on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and fall prevention.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Assist nursing staff with training and supporting Restorative Nursing Assistants.
• Provide staff training as requested.
• Follow infection prevention and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Report equipment issues promptly.
• Contribute to quality improvement and rehab program development.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
