Job summary

HealthPro Heritage has a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant opportunity for Gabriel Manor Assisted Living in Clayton, NC. The role supports individualized therapy plans and daily living activities, empowering residents to maintain independence.

The position offers a flexible weekday schedule and pay up to $35/hr based on experience and availability, with a collaborative rehab team and supportive management focused on quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• NBCOT certification.
• Current state licensure to practice as a COTA.
• Experience in an OT setting preferred; new grads encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Treatment Implementation: assist in delivering therapy based on plans by the OT, including ADL activities.
• Progress Monitoring & Documentation: track progress and maintain records per facility policies.
• Collaboration & Patient Education: work with interdisciplinary teams to educate patients and families on exercises and adaptive equipment.
• Therapeutic Activities & Support: lead or assist patients with exercises and activities of daily living to promote independence.
