Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited school.
• Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through NBCOT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, focusing on activities to improve daily living skills.
• Progress documentation and maintain accurate records in compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to educate patients and families on exercises and adaptive equipment.
• Lead or assist patients with therapeutic activities to promote independence.
