AMOREM’s Dietary Services team is seeking a PRN Cook to join our compassionate care environment. You will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals and help create a warm space for patients, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous cooking or food service experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ServSafe certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals
• Follow planned menus while accommodating patient preferences and dietary needs
• Deliver patient meals on schedule and maintain safe food temperatures
• Keep kitchen, nourishment areas and equipment clean and organized
• Complete required food service and safety logs
• Receive and inspect food and supply deliveries
• Assist with inventory and catering events as needed
• Work with Dietary Coordinator and patient care unit staff
• Perform other duties as assigned
