Job summary

Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (Compounding) PRN. You will assist a pharmacist in processing, preparing, and labeling sterile medications and parenteral admixtures, including potential chemotherapy preparations.

You will follow USP 797 guidelines, perform accurate medication calculations, maintain complete records, and ensure proper storage and security.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• ACPE 40-hour sterile compounding course per Texas Board.
• Hospital experience with ≥1 year sterile compounding preferred.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician or Texas intern certification.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders accurately and safely.
• Compound and label sterile medications and parenteral admixtures.
• Perform daily ADC routines and maintain accurate logs.
• Assist in receiving and restocking medication and supplies.
