Job summary

Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Non-Compounding PRN to support pharmacists in processing, preparing and dispensing patient medications per standards. The role involves accurate order filling, ADC support, and proper medication handling within the hospital pharmacy.

Responsibilities include inventory management, receiving orders, maintaining records, and ensuring medication safety and compliance across shifts with a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• National Certification (CPhT) or Intern Certification with Texas Board of Pharmacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Fill medication orders accurately and restock the pharmacy.
• Support automated dispensing systems and pharmacy computer tasks.
• Receive and check-in medication orders; notify shortages to inventory.
• Maintain logs and ensure pharmacist checks all work; handle routine ADC duties.

Education
