Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly.
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally.
• Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• The Community Outreach Assistant works with Youth Focus programs and supports the Safe Place program to ensure fidelity and safety standards.
• Promotes the National Safe Place Program and represents the agency at meetings and events to raise community awareness and partnerships.
• Assists with off-site meetings, events, and outreach activities to engage local communities.
