Alexander Youth Network seeks a PRN Community Outreach Assistant to support the Safe Place program, help promote community awareness, and participate in off-site meetings and events. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent experience and involves travel within the local area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly.
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally.
• Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Responsabilités

• The Community Outreach Assistant works with Youth Focus programs and supports the Safe Place program to ensure fidelity and safety standards.
• Promotes the National Safe Place Program and represents the agency at meetings and events to raise community awareness and partnerships.
• Assists with off-site meetings, events, and outreach activities to engage local communities.

He/she will support the Safe Place program in its entirety, ensuring program fidelity and full compliance with all operational and safety standards. The Outreach Specialist will also work as a team member to promote the National Safe Place Program and the agency on and off-site meetings and events to expand community awareness and visibility, strengthen partnerships, and support program engagement.A full job description can be provided to interested/qualified candidates.Minimum of 21 years of age.High School Diploma or one to two years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
