Job summary

The Bungalows at Riverchase is seeking a Cook to join their team on a PRN basis with variable hours. The Cook reports to the Food and Beverage Director and will handle cooking, portioning and plating in line with community standards.

Responsibilities include preparing meals, maintaining sanitary conditions, following menus and recipes, recording temperatures, and assisting with inventory while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• One year of related experience in food prep and menus.
• Current SERV Safe certificate or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals following approved menus and recipes.
• Maintain sanitation of food service areas and equipment.
• Record temperatures and quantities for safety and quality.
• Adhere to production sheets, recipes, and dietary requirements.
• Operate dish machine and ensure proper washing and sanitation.
• Keep accurate records and assist with inventory as needed.
