Job summary

Diana Health, Inc. is seeking a (PRN) Certified Nurse Midwife to join the Cookeville, TN team at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

You will provide full-scope midwifery care in outpatient settings, with collaborative support from OB/GYNs and nurses, and lead L&D activities as needed. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, diverse obstetric services, and ongoing professional development within a supportive, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative OB/CNM practice.
• Strong communication skills and intrapersonal skills.
• Value patient preferences, shared decision making, and holistic care.
• NRP and BLS certifications by start date (NRP preferred).
• Active AMCB CNM certification and TN licensure for RN/APRN.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage full-scope midwifery care in outpatient clinic including obstetric and gynecologic services.
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, health coaches, lactation counselors and educators.
• Provide leadership on Labor & Delivery including in-house coverage.
• Triage and care for emergent obstetric patients with RNs and OB/GYNs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Attend skills training and drills for high acuity/low frequency events.
