Job summary

Home Health of Wilson, part of LHC Group and within the Optum family, is seeking a PRN Home Health Aide/CNA in Wilson, NC. You will provide in-home personal care and designated health-related services to support patients’ physical and emotional well-being in a home setting.

Qualified candidates are NC nurse aide registry-listed, with 6+ months home care experience; CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days; and the ability to work flexible hours independently.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the North Carolina nurse aide registry.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience, preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• May provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair, teeth and nail care, skin care, transfers, and toileting.
• Reports observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when business travel is required.
• Assists with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
