Job summary

St. Catherine Hospital Garden City in Garden City, KS seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to interpret orders, compound and dispense medications while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This PRN role covers call-offs and vacations (5 shifts in 6 weeks) and includes a 10% differential on base pay, with no benefits. The pharmacist will provide patient counseling, collaborate with clinicians, and supervise pharmacy staff to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.
• BLS-CPR
• Active State Pharmacist License in good standing: PHARM:KS
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy services, laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards

Responsibilities

• Interpret provider orders and prescriptions accurately.
• Compound and dispense medications per standards.
• Consult with patients and healthcare professionals about drug use and interactions.
