Job summary

Newman Regional Health in Emporia, Kansas is seeking a full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join our award-winning team at a 25-bed non-profit Critical Access Hospital. The position focuses on clinical drug therapy, medication safety, and patient counseling, with access to state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative care environment.

You will review orders, monitor therapies, supervise technicians, and contribute to education for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Review, clarify, and verify medication orders entered by providers.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient drug therapy and interventions.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, including sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Provide counseling and drug information to patients and staff.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
