Job summary

Arkansas Health Group's BH Women's Clinic-NLR is seeking a Clinic Phlebotomist (PRN) to identify patients and collect blood specimens as ordered by a licensed provider. You will ensure proper labeling with two identifiers, date, time, and unique ID, and coordinate delivery of specimens to the laboratory.

You will also perform courier rounds and participate in drug testing and breath alcohol testing as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with doctors, nurses, clinical staff, and patients.
• Ability to read, write, and have basic computer skills.
• Professional phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and collect blood specimens as ordered by a licensed healthcare provider.
• Ensure specimens are properly labeled with two patient identifiers, date, time, and ID.
• Deliver specimens promptly to the laboratory and coordinate with staff if issues arise.
• Perform courier rounds and participate in drug testing and breath alcohol testing as required.
