Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of surgical technician program from an accredited school.
• Certification as a surgical technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing and second assisting during surgery under physician supervision.
• Assemble instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment; maintain sterility logs.
• Clean and prepare surgical suites; assist in turnover between cases.
• Maintain surgical supplies and proficiency with OR standards.
