Job summary

Optim-Healthcare is seeking a Surgical Technician (PRN) for Savannah, GA. This part-time as-needed role supports the operating room team in prepping spaces, assisting during procedures, and maintaining sterile technique.

Ideal candidates will have a Surgical Technologist program credential, NBSTA certification (preferred), and BLS certification. Experience with instrument counts and safety procedures is valued. Position requires lifting and standing as part of routine OR activity.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• NBSTA certification preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and equipment for procedures.
• Assist surgeons during procedures and maintain asepsis.
• Maintain instrument counts and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist in room cleanup and equipment monitoring.
