Job summary

The Jewish Hospital, part of Mercy Health, is seeking a PRN Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our interdisciplinary patient care team. You will assist pharmacists with prescription processing, inventory control, compliance audits and accurate financial transactions while delivering excellent customer service.

Required education includes a High School Diploma or GED with valid ExCPT or PTCB certification and state license.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Valid ExCPT or PTCB certification and state license required.
• Experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Hospital, or related pharmacy settings preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and verifying prescriptions accurately.
• Reviewing patient information with prescriptions per guidelines.
• Educating patients on proper medication use.
• Supporting pharmacists in daily operations.
• Adhering to infection-control protocols for safety.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
