Qualifications

• Graduate with an OTA associate degree and Texas license.
• Two years of OTA experience.
• CPR and Hepatitis profile up to date.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of Therapy Practice Act and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs services planned, delegated and supervised by the OT.
• Participates in coordination of patient care.
• Uses communication skills to teach patients and families.
• Completes documentation in a timely manner.
• Applies infection control and universal precautions.
• Accepts assignments in line with education and competence.
• Meets continuing education requirements and participates in in-service programs.
