PRN Therapy in Irving, TX seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide coordinated therapy under the supervision of a Licensed OT. The role supports patients of all ages in a rehab setting, with a PRN schedule and local travel if needed.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy, Texas state licensure, CPR and Hepatitis profile, and a valid driver’s license; two years of OT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree.
• Current Texas State License to practice occupational therapy.
• Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• CPR certification and Hepatitis profile current.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Performs services planned, delegated and supervised by the OT.
• Participates in coordination of patient care.
• Uses effective interpersonal relations to teach patients and families.
• Completes documentation in a timely manner.
• Applies infection control concepts to patient care.
