CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, has a PRN opening for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Greenbriar Healthcare Center. Our therapists are In-House Team Members, providing an opportunity to make a direct impact with residents through therapy. Qualifications/Must Have’s

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) education, obtained in an accredited two-year associate degree program
• Hold a valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License

Responsibilities

• Help clients improve quality of life by assisting them in compensating for limitations, such as improving motor skills, re-entering the labor force, or increasing independence in daily activities.
• Implement treatment plans through direct treatment and collaboration with Occupational Therapists, including education of treatment staff and family consultation.
• Ensure documentation complies with department and facility requirements under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
