Our therapists are In-House Team Members, providing an opportunity to make a direct impact with residents through therapy. Qualifications/Must Have’s

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) education, obtained from an accredited two-year associate degree program
• Valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in improving their quality of life by helping them compensate for limitations, such as motor skills improvement, re-entering the labor force, and increasing independence in daily activities.
• Implement treatment plans through direct treatment and collaboration with Occupational Therapists, including education of treatment staff and family consultation.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with department and facility requirements under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Opportunity to treat at multiple locations to serve diverse resident needs.
