Job summary

The Palms at Venice in Venice, FL is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our rehabilitation team. This PRN position delivers resident-centered occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT.

Responsibilities include delivering skilled treatments, helping residents improve ADLs and mobility, documenting progress, and collaborating with therapy, nursing and other care team members to ensure quality rehab outcomes in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Current Florida COTA license (required).
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Post-Acute Care setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while following OT supervision guidelines.
• Commitment to quality resident care and rehabilitation outcomes.
