Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Records the administration of medications and/or treatments.
• Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse.
