• Strong observation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under RN supervision and facility policy.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
• Records the administration of medications and treatments accurately.
• Monitors residents for reactions and side effects and reports to a licensed nurse.
• Administers PRN medications per state regulations and policy.
