Job summary

Maple Manor Village is looking to invest in Medication Aides to join our skilled nursing team. The 2nd shift (2p-10p) is full-time with PRN on-call opportunities, offering a supportive work environment and opportunities to grow.

As a Certified Medication Aide you will be on the front line of Clinical care, ensuring residents receive their medications and maintaining safety and comfort. Maple Manor Village values dedication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate.
• Successful completion of Iowa-approved Medication Aide training.
• CPR certification.
• One year CNA and Medication Aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed.
• Monitor residents and observe changes in condition.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain education and ensure residents receive high standard care.

As a Certified Medication Aide you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Maple Manor Village by providing our residents with the medications they need, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate, successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
