Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to service contracted schools and/or professional teams, coordinating access to care for athletes. This PRN position supports multiple schools in the Greater Fenton, MI area, including Linden High School, Fenton High School, Lake Fenton High School, and Holly High School.

Compensation is $35/hr with PerDiem/PRN scheduling and perks like CEUs, nationwide support, a company matching 401(k), and a diverse team

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree required.
• NATA-BOC Certification required for ATC role.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes' rehabilitation.
• Administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce injury risk.
• Assess effectiveness of training/rehabilitation and document athlete response.
• Manage emergencies, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company.
