Job summary

Visiting Angels of Southlake is hiring a Caregiver/CNA to support clients across Northeast Tarrant County, including Southlake and nearby areas. You will provide personal care, companionship, and mobility assistance per custom care plans.

Role offers full-time or part-time shifts, including 12-hour and overnight options, with benefits eligibility after status is established. Training and ongoing coaching are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• 1 year of caregiving experience with an agency or facility or a CNA license.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for work purposes with proof of insurance.
• Pass Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Light housekeeping duties.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to doctor appointments and run errands.
• Support specialized dementia care training and programs.

Visiting Angels of Southlake is hiring a Caregiver/CNA for our clients throughout the Northeast Tarrant County area in places like Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine, Keller, Westlake, Trophy Club, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, and many others.

As a Visiting Angels Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands
