Job summary

OU Medicine in Oklahoma City seeks a Sonographer for Adult Cardiovascular Diagnostics. Work is PRN with Fridays 8am-4pm at the University of Oklahoma Physicians Building, performing advanced echo and vascular ultrasound testing to support clinicians in diagnosis and care.

The role spans outpatient and inpatient settings, offering collaboration with OU Health providers. You will prepare patients, review history, and ensure data is accurately transferred for reporting, while maintaining high

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program with an emphasis in echo and/or vascular.
• At least 1 year of experience as an echo and/or vascular sonographer.
• Certification required at hire: ARDMS/ARRT/CCI per job description.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging on patients as ordered by a care provider.
• Prepares patients for procedures and reviews clinical history.
• Transfers images to the EHR and prepares studies for physician reporting.
• Provides on-call clinical coverage as assigned.
