Job summary

Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a PRN Cardiac Sonographer to join our inpatient and outpatient teams. You will perform transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiography under the Manager's guidance and provide physicians with complete diagnostic information.

You will prepare patients, review history with orders, and follow infection control practices, while supporting a collaborative cardiology service environment with additional diagnostic

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDCS/RCS or degree/certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography procedures (transthoracic, stress, transesophageal) in inpatient, outpatient, or intraoperative settings.
• Provide physicians with complete anatomical and functional diagnostic information.
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate history with ordered tests.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies and use PPE as required.
• Perform ultrasound procedures in assigned cardiology service areas following clinical standards and hospital protocols.
• May perform other duties related to diagnostic testing and operational tasks to support teamwork.
