Qualifications

• BLS certification is required within 30 days of start date.
• RDMS, RDCS or RCS credential required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) procedures including transthoracic, stress, transesophageal and intra-operative in various settings.
• Provide physicians with accurate anatomical and functional diagnostic information.
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate history with ordered tests.
• Adhere to infection control policies to minimize infection risks.
• Operate ultrasound equipment per clinical standards and hospital guidelines.
• May assist with other diagnostic testing and operations within cardiology services.
