Job summary

Duly Health and Care seeks a C-Arm Technologist in Naperville, IL. This PRN role supports the operating room by producing radiographs under Radiologist guidance, positioning patients, and ensuring safety with radiation protection.

Responsibilities include imaging, shielding, and uploading data to EMR/PACS, while maintaining a clean, compliant work environment and collaborating with OR staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered or eligible.
• CPR certification required.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate C-Arm in the OR for radiographs per Radiologist instructions.
• Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain the needed view.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper shielding and techniques.
• Upload imaging to EMR/PACS and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Provide patient explanations to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.

Follow instructions from Physicians intraoperatively regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging in the Operating Room Correctly position the patient, adjust the imaging equipment to the specified positionPrevent unnecessary radiation exposure to the patient, staff, and themselves.Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding.Order and Upload imaging via EMR and PACSMaintain a safe and clean working environment.Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum view of specific areas of body requested by physician.Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.Moves x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.Obtain patient’s pertinent history.Maintain OSHA regulations.Performs other projects and duties as related to department objective.Must be able to get along with others, to be a team player, to accept constructive criticism from your supervisor and be able to follow work rules.Reports to OR Supervisor or Charge RN for work assignments.Will assist with film quality control.Qualifications:Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six month to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be AART registered or eligible also IDNS licensed.CPR certification6 months-2 years related experience requiredIf you are committed to putting our patients first and helping shape the future of care, you belong at Duly.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $28.94-38.90, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
