Job summary

At Duly Health and Care, we are seeking a C-Arm Technologist to operate radiologic equipment for diagnostic radiographs in the operating room of a multi-specialty ASC in Naperville, IL. You will follow physician directions for imaging areas and ensure patient safety.

The role requires an AART credential or eligibility, an associate degree or equivalent, CPR certification, and 6 months to 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to two years of related radiology experience or training.
• Must be AART registered or eligible and hold IDNS license.

Responsibilities

• Operate C-Arm in the operating room in a sterile environment at a multi-specialty ASC.
• Position patient and adjust imaging equipment per physician instructions.
• Document procedures and upload images to EMR and PACS.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and shielding requirements.

Follow instructions from Physicians intraoperatively regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging in the Operating Room Correctly position the patient, adjust the imaging equipment to the specified positionPrevent unnecessary radiation exposure to the patient, staff, and themselves.Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding.Order and Upload imaging via EMR and PACSMaintain a safe and clean working environment.Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum view of specific areas of body requested by physician.Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.Moves x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.Obtain patient’s pertinent history.Maintain OSHA regulations.Performs other projects and duties as related to department objective.Must be able to get along with others, to be a team player, to accept constructive criticism from your supervisor and be able to follow work rules.Reports to OR Supervisor or Charge RN for work assignments.Will assist with film quality control.Qualifications:Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six month to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be AART registered or eligible also IDNS licensed.CPR certification6 months-2 years related experience requiredIf you are committed to putting our patients first and helping shape the future of care, you belong at Duly.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $28.94-38.90, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
