Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional certification in behavioral health or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in mental health, behavioral health, or social services is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Knowledge of behavioral health practices, safety protocols, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
• Supervise resident medication procedures and document administration; ensure proper timing and narcotics counted.
• Daily chart documentation and record-keeping.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with facility policies.
• Treat all residents with dignity, respect, and confidentiality.
• Cook and serve meals; follow the facility menu as posted.
