Job summary

The Wood Group is seeking a compassionate PRN Behavioral Health Technician to join our crisis facility team in Texas. You will help ensure resident safety, provide supportive care, and assist with daily activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include supervising medication procedures, documenting daily charts, and maintaining a safe, respectful setting. PRN shifts offer flexibility to meet community needs while delivering quality behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in behavioral health or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in mental health, behavioral health, or social services advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Knowledge of behavioral health practices, safety protocols, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Behavioral Health Technician to join our crisis facility team. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health crises. • PRN shifts (as needed for call outs)

Below are a few job duties to expect as a Behavioral Health Tech:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
• Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with facility policies
• Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
• Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.
• Daily chart documentation
• Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures to include employee handbook.
• Flexibility to work on an as need basis (PRN)
