Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Behavioral Health Office Representative to support patient intake, scheduling and billing across Brooksville and nearby counties. This PRN role covers early to late hours with flexibility to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities include updating patient information, greeting and checking in patients, answering inquiries, and ensuring accurate registration and documentation in the system. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and updates patient information.
• Schedules patient appointments and assists with patient inquiries; may arrange for additional services.
• Collects and posts payments, and assists with patient billing questions.
• Ensures completion of all encounter documentation prior to check out.
• Accepts transfers from other facilities according to established guidelines.
• Schedules patients with appropriate provider and answers phones per guidelines.
• Obtains complete and accurate patient registration information.
• Reviews and confirms registration information at each appointment.
• Reviews cancellation and schedule worklist throughout the day.
• Greets, registers and checks in patients.
