Job summary

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in Independence, MO is hiring a PRN Admissions and Intake Registered Nurse (RN). You will conduct comprehensive assessments, determine levels of care, perform crisis intervention, and collaborate with physicians to support timely admissions decisions.

The role may involve assisting units and leading groups as needed, with 12-hour shifts and PRN evening/overnight/weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or Compact.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work 12-hour shifts.
• PRNs with availability for evenings, overnight, and weekend coverage.
