Job summary

Universal Health Services' Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in the Independence area of Missouri is actively hiring a patient-centered Registered Nurse (RN) Nights to join our behavioral health team.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and update care plans, administer medications, monitor safety, and educate families. The hospital emphasizes a safe, caring, and therapeutic environment as it opens new facilities.

Qualifications

• MO RN licensure or compact license required.
• Experience in behavioral health settings preferred.
• Strong assessment, crisis intervention and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Help develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses and side effects.
• Monitor patient safety and documentation.
• Educate families.
