Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a mental health field from an accredited program.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Current Indiana license as LCSW/LMHC/LMFT/LCAC or HSPP.
• Crisis intervention certification may be required.
• Basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Record and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates individual, group, and family counseling.
• Performs utilization review and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with the health care team to ensure safe, timely care.
• Assesses psychosocial risk factors and counsels on emotional, social, and financial impacts.
• Interprets complex patient/family needs and models caring practices.
• Liaises with state and county protective services in abuse cases.
• Provides intervention in guardianship, foster care, adoption, and mental health placements.
