Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) - PRN to provide coverage for local affiliate teams, tournaments and community events. Under the general supervision of the physician, physical therapist, physician assistant or nurse practitioner, you will support injury prevention, evaluation and on-site care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college with a BS/BA in Athletic Training.
• BOC certification and Licensure as an Athletic Trainer by the SC Board.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of ages; weekend/evening coverage required.
• Current AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide PRN athletic trainer coverage for local high schools, clubs, colleges and pro teams.
• Cover local tournaments and community sports events.
• Work under the supervision of the physician, PT, PA or NP.
