Job summary

Summit Spine & Joint Centers is seeking a PRN ASC Scrub Tech to support Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Region 6 and Region 9, with Dalton, GA and Rome, GA sites. You will assist in prep, inventory, and sterilization while collaborating with ASC teams to maintain operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in science, scrub experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a science focus.
• Scrub experience required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to work in an environment involving human bodily fluids.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in an office environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand the aspects of the Surgery department while working directly with the ASC teams to ensure operational capacity
• Assist in inventory management of surgical supplies, including specialty kits
• Learn and perform sterilization techniques for surgical equipment
• Perform various other ASC functions as necessary
