Job summary

The position requires MSN preferred with pediatric nursing experience or a BSN with graduate credits or a related national certification, plus minimum of 3 years pediatric clinical work.

Qualifications

• MSN preferred with nursing pediatric experience or a BSN plus graduate credits or national certification related to pediatrics.
• 3 years' recent clinical pediatric nursing experience.
• Active, current, multi-state RN license (compact).
• Must pass drug test and competency testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive student relationships.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document student progress.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Stay current with trends in nursing practice and accreditation standards.
• Travel to student sites to observe performance during clinical rotations.
• Support university mission and Doctrinal/Ethical statements.
