Job summary

CareCore at Heritage is seeking an energetic PRN Activity Aide to support seniors with engaging, daily activities that promote socialization and quality of life.

Responsibilities include leading group and individual activities, holiday events, crafts, outings, and creating a welcoming environment. PRN coverage includes weekends and holidays as needed, with focus on compassionate care and teamwork with the Activities Director.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, outgoing, and comfortable working with seniors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in activities, long-term care, senior living, or healthcare is preferred.
• Must be available to provide PRN coverage, including some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with group and individual resident activities
• Encourage resident participation and engagement
• Help set up and clean up activities and special events
• Assist with holiday celebrations, games, crafts, outings, and other programs
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Work closely with the Activities Director and facility team
• Help maintain a welcoming, positive environment for our residents
