Job summary

Trinity Health Corp. in Nampa is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Ortho Medical/Surgical Unit. This 36-bed unit handles medical, surgical and orthopedic cases with opportunities for advancement across specialties. The role offers self-scheduling (PRN days) with at least one 12-hour shift per pay period (7 to 7).

The unit operates under a collaborative model with RNs and CNAs, providing a supportive learning environment and opportunities for growth into ER and ICU tracks.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with health care team in ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
• Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
• Acts in delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, and patient/family teaching.
