Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Wealth/High Net Worth team in a role that blends tax compliance, advisory services, and mentorship. You will work closely with firm leadership to serve high-net-worth clients and trusts, while guiding and developing a skilled staff to deliver quality client outcomes.

You will lead engagements, expand relationships, and contribute to the growth of the practice while enjoying the flexibility to manage your schedule and work location.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree; CPA, Law License or Enrolled Agent
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm
• Two (2)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates preferred
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational affluent families, family offices and their private businesses and/or investment entities
• Learn and grow from direct and on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs
• Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients
• Support the growth and development of team members
• Enjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work-life balance
