Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a High Net Worth Tax Managing Director to lead a private wealth practice, serving wealthy individuals, families and private businesses. You will mentor staff, guide engagements and partner with firm leadership to grow client relationships and advisory services.

Successful candidates will have a track record in tax planning, estate and gift tax work, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or law required.
• CPA or JD required.
• 8+ years’ experience in tax planning and consulting for wealthy individuals, family members and their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses.
• Four+ years supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational affluent families, family offices and their private businesses and/or investment entities.
• Manage client engagements, staffing, billing/collections and ensure profitability targets.
• Develop new business through internal and external networking and client development.
• Invest in professional development and contribute to firm learning programs.
• Support team development and promote work-life balance.
